After a while I thought to put some of my pluings I have made months ago on my blog and WP plugin repository , so here is it one of the basic plugins The WordPress Login Logo Changer .

It is a very simple pluing to change the logo of login screen, just download  & install it

Some basic steps you should follow are

Step 1

Download the WordPress Login Logo Changer By Ahmad Awais   , and install it by upload its zip to wordpress

Plugin Menu

You can directly upload your plugin zip file by clicking on Upload:

Upload zip

Use the browse button to select the plugin zip file that was downloaded, then click on Install Now. The plugin will be uploaded to your blog and installed. It can then be activated (see Automatically Installing a Plugin).

Step 2

Goto your activated theme’s images folder (if not present create one it will be here yourdomain.com/wp-content/themes/yourtheme/images) and put your logo of dimensions about 325* 85 and the name of that logo must be login_logo.png.

That’s all !!! I hope you enjoy the plugin.

Nice plugin, but There’s no need for a plugin. Just go to /wp-admin/images and replace the logo-login.png with any logo you want…

Hi…The plugin on your site looks great and I had hoped this might allow me to use a simple logo on my WP photoblog.

I downloaded and activated the plugin. I sized the logo to your instructions and uploaded it again as per your instructions. But there’s no sign of the new logo. Do you think it might be caused by the fact that the theme ‘Spotless’ is an old one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated…thanks george

1.Give me the link of your site ,let me see.

or
2.Let me see inside the admin panel If you can trust , gimme your pass through contact form in this site or3.Last option try this Just go to /wp-admin/images and replace the logo-login.png with any logo you want…

Nice plugin Ahmad – thanks.

When I changed my theme I realised that it had an “img” folde – so I had to create an “images” folder and drop the image in there for it to work.

Currently it does not work for child themes, it seems – you have to add it to the parent theme.

Also, if you use two factor authentication, WordPress calls wp-login.php and then the usual WordPress logo is shown again. Would be nice if the customised logo would be shown here too.

Take care.

It should work for the child theme. Create a folder named “image” in your child theme put the logo and test it out.
If your child theme is not supported by actions.php then parent theme needs modification.
