Blogspot and blogger are the same things, don’t confused between them. Actually both are redirect to a one same domain.
Blogger is a free Google’s platform where users can create blogs; write about their ideas/knowledge and share it with the world. Blogspot is also well known as blogger. Blogs does not only serve for sharing knowledge but it also serves for advertisement purpose, business purpose and personal dairy, News. Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are no real rules for a blog.
It was just an introduction about what blog and blogspot is. In this tutorial I am going to tell how to get a blog on blogspot.com.
It is very easy to get a blogspot domain, just follow the steps:
1. Go to http://www.blogger.com.
2. If you already have a Google account perhaps from Gmail, Google Groups, or Orkut login through it, otherwise you can make another one by going here Sign up for a new Google Account.
3. Fill the form and click on continue.
4. Recently blogger updated to a new user interface so after clicking on continue you will redirected to the new user interface of blogger which seems like this.
5. Now click on New Blog (a lighbox will be open).
6. Fill the form, Title your blog and try to get the best matching blogspot domain, select a theme for your blog.
7. That’s all guys. Now you have your own blog, you can visit your blog by going http://yourselectedblogname.blogspot.com.
